LETS (also shown as LinkUp) is a social app for discovering local events and meeting people nearby. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Profile details: your name, email address, location or city, bio, interests, spoken languages, and any photos or short videos you add to your profile.
Content you create: events you post, messages you send in event group chats and direct messages, and people or content you choose to report or block.
Approximate location: if you allow it, we use your device location to show events near you and to place your events on the map. You can turn this off in your device settings at any time.
Basic usage data: we keep records needed to run the service, such as when your account was created and when you were last active.
To create and manage your account and profile.
To show you nearby events and let you post, join, and chat about them.
To deliver messages and notifications about activity that involves you.
To keep the community safe — reviewing reports, enforcing our guidelines, and checking images for inappropriate content.
To send you essential emails such as email verification and account-related messages.
To keep LETS safe, photos you upload may be automatically scanned for inappropriate content before they appear. This helps us enforce our community guidelines and protect members.
We do not sell your personal information.
Information you choose to make public — your profile, the events you post, and messages you send — is visible to other members as part of using the app.
We use trusted service providers to operate the app, such as our hosting provider, our email provider, and our image-safety provider. They only process data on our behalf to deliver these services.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our members.
You can edit your profile, photos, and content at any time inside the app.
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your events, your messages, and your activity from our servers. This cannot be undone.
You can control location access through your device settings.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems.
LETS is strictly for people aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
